Year 8 Project Intro

Every year at the Hutchins Middle school the year eights do a project called the Year 8 Project. The project can be mostly anything ranging from someone making a book to someone building something. For mine I started of by planning to build a boat, but after running around Hobart for three hours looking for the right materials in the right sizes, we could only find the necessary marine ply but not the rest. I contacted some people about getting the correct wood sent in from South Australia but it wasn't economical. But I was determined to use the materials I had already bought as we had spent money and about three hours shopping for it, so, some thought went into it and now I am building a table tennis table.
